Screw you, Ernest Hemingway!!!

The title has to do with a particular scene in Hemingway's novel, To Have and Have Not, which has made me associate stubs with...well if you've read the book then you know.  If you haven't read it, then don't; it will make you see stubs differently and it's a boring, repetitive, horrible novel, almost as horrible, repetitive, and boring as A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce.

On another note, I don't know if this is a left-over evolutionary trait, but I don't like being offered food by people I don't like, or who annoy me, or just being offered food weekly by the same people.  I feel like I have to be nice to them (not that I'm a mean person), or I have to like them, or owe them something, or socialize with them.  I don't want to share food with people I don't want to socialize with.  If I have a class with you, I just want to take my class then go home, I don't want to socialize at 8:30pm.  Eating is a very social event and there are some people that, as sweet and as nice as they may be and real salt of the earth, I just don't particularly care to socialize with outside of class.

Final note: See, I'm already better at posting.  All I need are people to annoy me and I've found my muse :D  I should have plenty of blogging inspiration :)

Really final note: This website should have emoticons  >:(
