I saw a clip on Yahoo this morning about Tabata training, it sounds really interesting.
Tabata is high intensity interval training in 4 min intervals that are each broken up into smaller blocks of 30 seconds. I feel like Tabata is the Pomodoro of exercising. You commit to as little as 4 min. Each 4 min interval is comprised of a different exercise that you do for 20 secs, then take a 10 sec break and repeat for a total of 8 times. The beauty of Tabata is that everyone can commit to as little as 4min of exercise a day! And you don't need any gym equipment. I'm still not completely over my cold, but I think I will try a Tabata or two when I get home tonight.
